If you’re a lover of beaches, Phuket is where you need to go. Some are very crowded such as Patong beach. I visited a quieter one called Kata Noi Beach, the sunset from the windmill view point was well worth it. I wanted to go to either James Bond island or Phi Phi Island but had no time to. I was really excited to visit the zoo to see the animals, especially to meet the tigers inside the cage. I could touch them and take photos with them, they were trained to not attack humans.

Temples visited include Wat Chalong, there were many in Thailand as its a Buddhists country. I was fascinated by the amazing architecture and how clean they were.
The first thing I felt when arrived in Bangkok was it was much more hotter here than Phuket and even Singapore!! But less humid so was more dry! I was overwhelmed by Sook Siam at Iconsiam. It had over 50 stalls of food vendors present with so much choice. The atmosphere was incredible. Visited Chatuchak Weekend Market - so many stalls with so many things to buy!!! It was like a maze and easy to get lost even with the map of the whole market. You can bargain with the sellers to get good price.
Many malls in Bangkok are quite popular due to the AC available and gets you away from heat. An example is Terminal 21 which has each floor as different country theme and set up like airport theme. A few of my friends in Bangkok took me to a cultural village, which was further from the central of Bangkok. I had fun making a clay pot through the traditional method. I tried lots of street food, it’s quite popular. Favourite food was a desert called mango sticky rice! Getting around phuket was challenging as there was no real transport system such as trains. So would often rely on grab or tuk-tuks. Bangkok has a better transport system such as the train BTS. And could use tuk-tuk or grab for quite cheap.

As a country, I felt it was very friendly to tourists to visit. If i had more time, I would have watched maybe Muay Thai boxing.
